Our veterinary team bring a wealth of experience to the practice and have individually obtained high standards of professional qualification. Most of us are pet owners too and so we know how important it is to keep your furry friend feeling well.
Ellie Marriott BVSc MANZCVS (Medicine of Cats) MRCVS
Ellie qualified in 1999 and has worked at Castle Vets since 2005, becoming a partner in 2010. Ellie has a special interest in feline medicine and gained her post graduate qualification in cat medicine in 2012. A result of this is that she is now a RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Medicine (Feline). She has been recognised by the RCVS as having knowledge and experience beyond her initial primary veterinary degree and continues to be up to date in her field. She has also been admitted to the ISFM Academy of Feline Practitioners, which recognises feline vets from all over the world for their expertise. Ellie enjoys seeing cats of all shapes and sizes as first opinion and referral cases in the practice. In her spare time she looks after her own naughty kitties and since becoming a mum in 2014 enjoys spending lots of time with her family.

Jeremy Wright BSc BVSc MRCVS
Jeremy qualified in 1998 and joined the practice in 2007, becoming a partner in 2010. In recent years he has been honing his orthopedic skills, adding to the range of treatment we can provide in-house. In his spare time he loves gardening, helped by his 2 daughters, cooking and eating. He takes part in duathlons from time to time too.

Giles Broadhead BSc BVMS MRCVS
Giles qualified in 2004 and has worked in the practice since 2012 and became a partner in 2014. Giles has a particular interest in soft tissue surgery. When not at work he enjoys spending time with his young family and playing hockey.
Susanna Radford BVM&S MRCVS
Susanna qualified in 2009 and joined the Castle Vets team in August 2016. Before coming to us she spent 2 years in a mixed animal practice and 3 years in a veterinary practice in Dubai. In her spare time (when not sleeping) Susanna likes to walk her dog Suki, read, watch tv, do yoga and run places.
Kirsty Campbell BVetMed MRCVS
Kirsty qualified in 2007 from The Royal Veterinary College and joined our team in 2018. She has spent the last 10 years in small animal practice and has a special interest in dog behaviour and training. She spends her spare timae walking and training her two Hungarian Vizslas for agility, with whom she has competed at Crufts and won!
Ruth Bennett RVN
Our practice manager qualified as an RVN in 1996 and has been in this practice since then. Ruth has rehomed a Jack Russell called Alfie and in her spare time likes spending time in her garden and taking care of all her furry friends at home.
Fliss Kenny RVN
Fliss qualified in 2006 and joined the practice the same year. She has completed a certificate in Feline Veterinary Nursing in which she gained a credit. She is the Cat Advocate for the practice, making sure we are all feline friendly. Fliss has also taken on the responsibility of being our Head Nurse. She took home an abandoned 3 legged cat called Tripod and in her spare time enjoys DIY and walking.
Jacqui Moxom RVN
Jacqui is originally from South Africa and arrived in the UK in 1996. She qualified in 2001 and after working in several practices she joined us in 2013. She is one of the assessors for our student nurses during their training. In her spare time she enjoys DIY, gardening and spending time with Yala the dog and Moses the cat. She is now the resident baker for all of us at Castle Vets.
Tammy Parkin RVN
Tammy qualified in 2004 and has worked here at Castle Vets since 2014. She is also an assessor for the student veterinary nurses. In her spare time she enjoys kayaking, reading, camping, painting and after becoming a mum in March 2015 she now has no time for any of them!
Lauren Antoniotti RVN
Lauren qualified in 2008 and joined Castle Vets in September 2016. When not at work, Lauren like walking her dog Layla and spoiling her daughter Mila.
Jess Pegram RVN
Jess started working at Castle Vets as a student nurse in June 2016 and became qualified in January 2017.In her spare time enjoys doing arts & crafts, days out and cuddles with her cats.
Natalie Vallance RVN
Natalie qualified as a RVN in 2017 having completed her training and seen work experience with us prior to that. In her spare time she enjoys walking her dog Rosie and is currently renovating a house.
Lily Greenacre RVN
Lily joined us as a student veterinary nurse in 2014 having received a degree in animal behaviour and welfare in 2009. Lily passed her exams in 2016 and is now a Registered Veterinary Nurse. Lily is especially interested in rabbit care, an interest which she developed whilst working at the RSPCA Taylor Rehoming Centre for 7 years. In that time she took home 2 rabbits, chickens, tortoises and a cat.
Louisa is a veterinary nursing student from Harper Adams University and you will see her in the practiuce when she is here on work placement. In her spare time she enjoys walkign her dog, horse riding, ballet, reading and listening to music.
Lucy joined the Castle Vets team in April 2016. You will mainly see Lucy in our Weymouth branch but every other saturday she is in Dorchester. She gained her SQP qualification in July 2016 meaning she can give out medication to your furry friends. In her spare time she likes to walk her dogs and attempt diy at home.
Kelly joined the practice in September 2017 as a receptionist, mainly in Dorchester. She is planning to complete her SQP qualification soon. She has five rabbits and enjoys spending time with her family when she is not working.
Mel joined Castle Vets in October 2017 as a receptionist in both branches. She gained her SQP qualification in August 2018. She has two cats and when not at work enjoys baking for her little boy.
Georgie joined the practice as a receptionist in June 2018. She has two children and enjoys time with them and baking when not working at the practice.
